Here it is! The website dedicated to the “Tripzilla”. I guess I’ll give you guys a little bit of history regarding what this was all about before the festivities begin. If you’ve viewed the other travel pages here, you know that Jaime and I enjoy travel. In 2002, we took a 28 day tour of the USA in my VW pickup truck, the “Truckdoza”. It was a wonderful adventure. Upon returning home we promised each other that we would do it again. As time went on, we went on a few smaller trips, but the yearning for “The big one” continued.

So we finally figured that we would be able to go after Jaime graduated from college. So on May 14, she earned her Master’s degree, and on May 15 we left. Nothing like cutting it close. But, it worked out great. Our goals for the trip were pretty much to have fun, not have any set schedule, and just live life and enjoy it. And, that’s what we did. These photographs and journal entries are a chronicle of our journey. I hope that they encourage someone to attempt the same thing because it truly was a life changing experience.

I would recommend viewing the introduction movie first, and then moving on to the “blow by blow” account of our travels. They will move you through in a chronological fashion, so you can experience things in the same order that we did. There is also an index, for those of you who wish to skip around.
